Christmas on the River / Donaldsonville. This annual event in Donaldsonville is kicked off by a Christmas parade, followed by a Christmas Marketfest, a Farmer's and Crafter's Market. In the evening, the event features hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts, and a visit from old Saint Nick.
